Joining to Get Citizenship?

Many military officials are now saying that they are not succeeding with the military recruitments here in America. So what is next, military recruitment overseas?
The U.S Armed Forces have been taken into consideration of the possible recruitment of foreign soldiers from other countries to make that the army bigger. The ways they are going to lure them in are by offering them U.S. citizenship. They considered putting military recruitment stations in many foreign countries, but not really doing it yet. If these stations are opened, the Pentagon would be in a lot of harsh because they are supposed to be the defendants of this country, and now they need help.
Personally, I think this is one of the sickest things that the U.S. Army will do, if it is done. They will now try to kill foreign soldiers, trying to make their “American Dream” come true (if they decide to make it come true.) These foreign people would think that by joining, they wouldn’t have to endure that long hours of trying to cross Rio Grande, or be chased into Miami Bay, just to come to work harsh hours, getting paid half then minimum pay. If they are to do this, I will strongly oppose.

The Army is in your GAME CONTROLLER!!!

The Army is the ultimate when it comes in trying to get all of young America to get into the army, even if they are 9 or 10 year old little kids who play video games. Yes, video games. The army is trying all fronts to get army soldiers, even on your computer screens. The U.S. Army has released a free online game called America's Army. They have been testing is game out for years now, showing real life army guns and maps, showing that the enemies are always in black attire, to influence them to get into the battle lines . They have many maps looking like the battlefronts of Iraq and other foreign enemy territories. I have been guilty of playing these games, but I'm one of the lucky ones who has not been influenced to get into the army because I'm want to one of the soldiers in the game. But unfortunately many little kids play this game and have been influenced to join in the "fun". What is the next influence for the army’s recruiters, our food?

Sgt. Abe, the Honest Recruiter

Let's say that you do want to go to the U.S. Army. You are ready to get the money that you have been promised to get, such as $30,000. Now you sit down with an Army recruiter and are speaking how this is change your life for the better. But has it ever crossed your mind what that contract really says? Thanks to Sgt. Abe, the Honest Recruiter, young America can find out all the real facts about that contract that “will” get you your money. Sgt. Abe explains anything and everything, such as that the army has the right to revoke anything for the recruit at any time, without any notice, including the promised money. Most people sign the dotted line, not knowing what their fate will be.
Thanks to Sgt. Abe, young America will know what they are up for, before they sign their life away.

How far will the Army go?

Have you ever asked how far the U.S. Army will try to get so that they get new soldiers from schools? Did you think that all they do is follow you to high school and that's it? Well you’re wrong. In the University of Vermont, some students, like juniors and senior, are getting email for an army recruiter to try to help them by giving the money to pay off their college dues. There is a law that protects the privacy of university students for anyone, but the Army is violating these laws. In my opinion, I think is very wrong. No one is allowed to have their private information given out to anyone, even if it's to the president who will send 3,000 troops to Iraq by next week. Hopefully one day, the army will stop this madness of try to get young people killed out their in the fight for "FREEDOM!"

No Child Left Behind!

Is the army after schools? In an article name No Child Unrecruited, David Goodman thinks so. Now-a-days the U.S. Army is trying to get the names of new recruits, whether schools like it or not. They are getting court orders to make schools give away the names of all the school's students, to try to send them letters, trying to brainwash kids that going to the army will get them money so that in the future will attend college with they money they need, if they make it back from the new wars on terrorism. The army will try to get all students is falling behind in schools and now it easier with Bush's new plan: No Child Left Behind.

So do you think that this is fair to the students? In my opinion, I think not. I wouldn't want all my private information to go out to anyone for any reason. Do you?

Does History Repeat Itself?

Kids today watch a lot of shows on TV. They are used to seeing the bad guys being beaten down by the good guys, the mentality that good must always defeat evil. Sharon Hughes believes that TV is one of the many reasons that "military recruitment" is the equivalent of brainwashing. She describes a show that Frank Capra did when he explain why all the American Troops are out in Iraq. He explains that we are there for the same reasons that we were in Germany back in WWII, in the cold days of Hitter and Mussolini. We were there to try to put a stop in the world domination that they tried to do back in their days and the evils they tried to bring to the world. Well, as Hughes explains, "history does not repeat itself, only the players.” These players are the soldiers that are fighting with their lives on the line to fight these new age dictators, such as the late Saddam and Bin Laden. These men are the reason why we are back at war, to try to stop these men from trying to dominate the world. Many protesters, who are always outside of the White House, try to put an end in this. They tell the army to stop trying to recruit their kids, so that their faith won't be like the millions that died in the Germany frontlines. Hopefully, their message will be heard so that we don't lose another million.
